Terms of Service at Quiver Media Ltd define how we work with clients, deliver services, and manage expectations across all projects. When you engage with our services, you are entering into a working relationship based on clarity, communication, and mutual respect. This document outlines the key terms that guide the relationship.
We work with businesses across Kenya and beyond, so consistency in how we operate is important. These terms are designed to protect both you and us while ensuring smooth project delivery. They also help prevent misunderstandings by clearly stating what is expected from both sides.
Unlike traditional legal documents, we aim to keep this simple and understandable. You should be able to read this and know exactly how we work. If anything is unclear, you can always reach out to us directly for clarification.
By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Scope of services
Quiver Media Ltd provides services including web design, SEO, Google ranking systems, and Answer Engine Optimization. Each project is defined by a specific scope agreed upon before work begins. This scope outlines what will be delivered, timelines, and key expectations.
Any work outside the agreed scope is treated as an additional request. This may require revised timelines or additional costs, depending on the nature of the request. We always aim to communicate this clearly before proceeding.
Our goal is to deliver structured, high-performing systems. Therefore, we focus on quality, clarity, and alignment with business goals rather than rushed or undefined work.
Project timelines
Timelines are discussed and agreed upon at the beginning of each project. These timelines depend on the scope of work, client responsiveness, and availability of required materials.
Delays may occur if feedback, content, or approvals are not provided on time. In such cases, timelines will be adjusted accordingly. We aim to remain flexible, but progress depends on active collaboration.
We commit to delivering work within reasonable timeframes while maintaining quality. However, timelines are not guaranteed if external factors affect the workflow.
Client responsibilities
Clients play an important role in project success. You are responsible for providing accurate information, content, and timely feedback. Without this, it becomes difficult to deliver effectively.
You should also ensure that any materials you provide, such as images or text, are legally owned or authorized for use. We do not take responsibility for content ownership issues originating from client-provided materials.
Clear communication improves outcomes. When both sides are aligned, projects move faster and perform better.
Payments
Payment terms are agreed upon before the project begins. This may include full payment, milestone payments, or deposit-based arrangements, depending on the project.
Payments are processed externally through platforms such as M-Pesa or bank transfer. We do not store financial information on our systems.
Work may be paused if agreed-upon payments are not made on time. Final delivery may also be withheld until full payment is completed.
Revisions and changes
We allow a reasonable number of revisions within the agreed scope. These revisions are intended to refine the project and ensure it meets expectations.
However, repeated or major changes beyond the original scope may be treated as additional work. This helps maintain project clarity and prevents delays.
We aim to be flexible, but structure is important to ensure progress and quality.
Intellectual property
Once full payment is completed, ownership of the final deliverables is transferred to the client. This includes website designs, content, and agreed assets.
However, we reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed. This helps us demonstrate our experience and capabilities.
Any third-party tools, plugins, or software used in a project remain subject to their own licensing terms.
Service performance
We build systems designed to improve visibility, ranking, and performance. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as exact rankings, traffic levels, or revenue results.
Search performance depends on multiple factors, including competition, market conditions, and ongoing optimization. Our role is to build a strong foundation and apply proven strategies.
Results improve over time when structure, content, and consistency are maintained.
Third-party services
Our services may involve third-party tools such as hosting platforms, analytics tools, and advertising systems. These tools operate independently and have their own terms.
We are not responsible for changes, downtime, or issues caused by third-party platforms. However, we aim to work with reliable providers to minimize risk.
Clients are encouraged to review the terms of any third-party services connected to their project.
Limitation of liability
While we aim to deliver high-quality services, Quiver Media Ltd is not liable for indirect losses resulting from the use of our services. This includes loss of revenue, business interruptions, or external system failures.
We focus on building reliable systems, but no digital platform is entirely risk-free. By using our services, you acknowledge these limitations.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project under reasonable circumstances. This may occur due to non-payment, lack of communication, or misalignment in expectations.
In such cases, work completed up to that point will be billed accordingly. Any unused payments may be handled based on prior agreement.
We aim to resolve issues before reaching this stage, but termination remains an option if necessary.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or operations. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
